INTRODUCTION

Amaru Hegallu Energy (Pty) Ltd trading as AHE is ancient civilization meaning “experience abundance”.  The extent of electricity constraints on our South African grid led to us exploring the use of bio-waste as a potential solution and assist with meeting the demand. It was however a journey that would require a large amount of waste to generate the required fuel to make this a viable proposition.

We embarked on a path that would lead us to a point where we would extract the fuel source from the multitude of waste generators across the waste value chain to produce this fuel. AvfallC came about which is a subsidiary of AHE. AvfallC is the waste ecosystem platform that we derived and was inspired by the need for gathering the voluminous quantity of organic waste...and while we were at it… let us include the entire waste landscape. AvfallC would become a conduit through which the entire waste value chain flows.

Households and industry will all be brought up to speed through our effective roll-out campaign. The entire waste hierarchy will be in-line with the NWMS.
